There were so many lies, so much cruelty, so much false law, that I was confused. Naturally, since you were kind and they were not, I could only worry about you. Being dedicated to you made me want to protect you. All I could do was formulate in my mind what was going on and trying to figure it out all the while I was being abused and taunted with more illegal abuse.
