Do not worry about the monetary portion, but it can be used as leverage, in case of no appearance, then go after the bucks. The judge can also rule in the favor of the Plaintiff in the absence of the defendant, or the other way around, but I will put on the Oscar performance of a life-time! I will at least be able to have my say! Also, in a response, tell EVERYTHING, because it NEEDS to be heard and I can give it to the PD as your statement of what is going on!!
