I think Love is the most difficult thing to understand. I believe it can’t be seen, it can’t be shown or proven but it can only be felt, feeling someone, truly feeling someone. When a tear is rolling down their face and you would do anything to take it away. When you’re in-love with someone it shouldn’t be in them as a person, you should be in-love with their hearts because it’s the one thing that will never change.
The heart? A beating bloody muscle in the middle of one’s chest? Yes, that’s it, because it’s the same heart that starts beating faster when you see that special person, the same heart that aches when you miss them. 7 Things that I learned about loving someone and being in-love with their heart: 1) They might never feel the same. You can’t make someone love you but continue to love them anyway because it might grow in their heart and if it doesn’t be contempt that it grew in yours. 2) I’ve learned to show up and own up and take responsibility, especially when you’re wrong. Don’t be the Dick-Tator in the situation. 3) I learned to continue fighting even if you’re the only one fighting, as long as you fight to keep each other. 4) It takes work, from both parties. When you buy a house, you don’t buy it with a yearly maintenance plan, daily gardener, handyman and plumber. You must work your perky booty off to turn a house into the perfect home. 5) That brings me to the next point. Take time to study your person. What makes them tick, what makes them smile and what gives them that chicken pock “kinda” feeling. 6) I’ve learned that it can be the best thing that has ever happened to us, or it can be the worst pain you’ve ever felt (don’t let it consume you) but remember even a dead clock shows the right time twice a day. 7) In the end we regret the chances we didn’t take, so take a leap on love and put your whole heart into it. Because when you fall you might fall in-love with not only your person but yourself and no one can take that away from you.
