 My mother was upset with me because I bought her a few things for Mother's Day. She said she's old,  what as she going to do with the things? I only put, "your loving family" on the card, but it was not the big mystery I had hoped. I would have gone to see her, but it is a long drive even with a DL that I have not gotten yet. I was waiting for my son to tell me if he was going to go and take me, but he did not, until late the night before. I was skipped, but that happens. Oh well.

It all did make me sad all day, but your sweetness helped me feel better. That was lovely.
