A person with narcissistic personality disorder is only infatuated in the beginning of the relationship. Narcissists do not know love the way most people know and feel love. No! Absolutely not a narcissist is not going to fall in love with a person who provides them with narcissistic supply.
They may love the way this person makes them feel. But they do not have the ability to love this person. They will never feel bad for using this person. They may feel regret for losing this person, but only in terms of what this person provided for them. The way this person made them feel and other benefits such as a place to stay, the use of a car, money, this person did all the household chores, cooked, and took care of them.
This is what they miss. They do not miss the person and they can replace this person real fast. Mainly they are after narcissistic supply and other benefits. Narcissistic supply is what they need and want the most. In fact they feel like they cannot exist without narcissistic supply.
All their manipulations and games they play with your heart and mind are for narcissistic supply. Seeing you hurt supplies them. When they know you are hurting because of them this supplies them. They love playing the triangulation game either by cheating with someone else or just making you think they are cheating with someone else. This makes them feel highly sought after even pretending they are cheating seeing you get upset makes them feel good. This is just one example.

The narcissist constantly plays with your mind. He loves twisting all of your words, and arguing with you. He goes around in circles never making any sense. You become emotional because you cannot get him to understand anything. This supplies him. I’ve given you a few examples.
The narcissist needs narcissistic supply all day every day. He cannot regulate his own self esteem. This supply keeps the false self propped up. He needs others to regulate his self esteem. Because he is empty. There is nothing in there. He is a black hole. All he has is the false self.
There are many mind games and manipulations played on a person by the narcissist. These games never end. No one person can supply all the narcissist supply needs. He has many sources of supply. Not all are sexual. It is a matter of survival for the narcissist. He feels like it’s life or death to keep his false self propped up.
He will never love you nor will he feel bad for using you. He may briefly have regret for losing a supply source. But not because he loves or misses her. It’s the supply he misses and the way she made him feel, the way she took care of him. This feeling of regret is brief as he must move on and find himself a new supply source. He doesn’t have a lot of time to think about it. He’s a predator. He’s a parasite. Does a shark feel bad for eating another fish for lunch.
