Lettuce

I was "pottering" around outside, cutting back dead leaves, etc. (Small pleasures.) And planted a cute little growth I grew from cutting off the bottom part of head lettuce and putting it in water to let it root. It grew the most charming branches (?), so I planted it in soil. Such a cute thing!
