I just got 2 books from the Harvard bookstore that included 2 entries of medical articles of patient histories that my great grandfather shared. The writings in the books were anecdotal for easier layperson reading (may not quite be an accurate description, but rather more like a story, than scientific). What I have read online from modern medical writings have been extremely complicated, but it is still fascinating to see how lab rats do their duty for the world of medicine.
