What do you do when you really aren't suicidal, but are in such despair, you feel like a sad frozen lump? Do you know what the guy at the "Hot line" said to me? "Do something you like, or watch a fun movie." Was he trained in that inspired, such in-depth mental health analysis and advice? I think if I said, "hey Google" I would have gotten better help. I just DID ask Google what I should do when I am depressed, the answer? A peppy, "Do you want to hear a fun fact?" "The Hawaiian pizza was actually created in Ontario, Canada." Aaaaah, I feel so much better now!
I do so love a good Hawaiian pizza! (I know, to most people that is an oxymoron....!)

I forgot that Julia Child had a strong Pasadena connection. Me too. My great grandfather was an owner editor of the Pasadena Star News, and wrote a history of Pasadena: "Thirty Years in Pasadena."
