They do!! One day, POOF! They are gone and do not return. There seems to be some misconception, and unfortunate hopefulness in some, that they will always return. THEY DO NOT ALWAYS RETURN. If you are hoping that they return, you are wasting your life away. If they do return, it’s to continue the abuse. Eventually they tire of this and move on, never to be seen again.
If she walked away, that would be great! Make life less pleasant don't be nice and don't talk to her any more than perfunctory and not friendly. For sure don't be her arm candy! They are waiting for you to die to push a faked will off on the powers that be, that will leave out anyone but her and himself; I certainly do not think your children will be remembered.
