She is actually Princess Isabella von Martinitz, who is a blood relative to Marie Antoinette, since a great-grand mother of hers was Archduchess Maria Theresa, Marie Antoinette's mother.

Nan was a long time family friend of my family from when she was a child. She used to go to my great-grandfather's and mother's house when she was a child because her family were Quakers, so they did not celebrate holidays.
I meant to say she went over to my family's house for Christmas as a child. She said they had wonderful German decorations and chocolates. He brother Grant (the artist) would do pranks like put up fences between their yards called something like spite fences. I don't know what that was about except pranks.
