 Watching a program about British antiques experts who are buying antiques to go to auction in competition, while speaking about local history in very interesting fashion. They had some very harsh union stories, but with good results. Sad to see some very old and egregious attitudes can still raise their ugly heads and against people who are not those one would expect. How does a person of wealth and prestigue end up being treated like someone on the lower end of the economic and social ladder? It is obvious kidnapping and being held prisoner. How do people not see the obvious unless they are a part of the evil plot? It is like people want to bury their heads in the sand. These are people who deserve to have a self-preserving sudden movement against them, or die. I thought that maybe I have been too worried, but the further time wears on; the less I think that way. If we go back, we remember the horrific outcomes we should not forget. We cannot allow time to soften our memories; we are still dealing with cruel people. Self-preservation is ALWAYS KEY. I saw an adorable lighthouse with a very honorable history. I remember a common admiration for lighthouses; it still makes my heart beat stronger remembering our similar likes.
