I saw on Amazon that there are sinks that have legs. I think that is a better idea than having a sink balancing on a piece of wood that will eventually crumble and end up like mine. So, I would jack it up and put the sink on the jack stands and do what needs to be done to it.
Woman need to be tough and self-reliant if they don't have help, or even it they do actually, it is just nice to have support.
