It isn't American to not have control of one's own life. The law is being twisted and denigrated to gain advantage over another. It was done to gain advantage over me as well as you. It was a fate sealer. All that can be said is that it was threat and fear. It hurt like Hell.
I sure knew how much I loved you then. I felt like dying. They wanted me dead; that was obvious. I will never die for those murderous assholes!
