It was so lovely to know you.
I could brave anything, or
accomplish whatever I needed
to get done.
The biggest problem became tiny.
The answers flowed to me like
a breeze softly gentle, but
assuredly, so it needed no
coaxing along the way.
Your smile was my strength
and your voice guided me
through the darkest times.
I lost everything when you
went away.
And you will never return.
And I will
never be the same
again.
Only
Love remains
to put an ache
in my soul.
