Terrifying people and keeping them prisoner says nothing good about the person doing it. It says they are a monster. People want to escape from monsters because they are evil. They can flash their motor skills around all they want, but in the end, they are going to merely be remembered as monsters that people want to escape....even if they had to suffer to do it. That can't make the monster happy, since monsters want to social climb and have things look perfect, even if they are ugly inside. They don't know how to be gracious and kind, since being a monster takes up all the room....besides, they don't like gracious, or kind. Hitler was also a monster. How'd that work out? Some people are too mentally ill to even realize how bad they are....
People stay when they are happy, not when they are forced, or frightened to death. Get a clue.
