They made povitiza on the "British Baking Show". I made it many years ago, but mine used 18 eggs and a pound of walnuts in it.  I had an antique table that I used specifically to make breads and apple strudel. It's been awhile.....

  1. My grandmother had a Jewish cook book that was just cards on rings, so they could be easily flipped. Povitiza is Polish, Czech, Yugoslavian, ? It is a really big thing to make it; a labor of love and delicious. I have never bought it commercially. It is a bit expensive, but may be worth it, since it is labor intensive.

  2. Are you going anywhere for Christmas? You might look for any chances of any type,any help,spread your problem with loved ones who could help .... I will always do anything I can. I still need to get a cell phone and renew my DL. I have been terribly distracted. Sending love.
