I know how she feels...... I miss you so much!
Margaret McCollum, after the death of her Oswald Laurence, sits on the bench and waits to hear that recording that has become one of London's most famous 'Mind the gap' .
In 2003, Oswald died, leaving a great void in Margaret's heart. So from that moment on, Margaret found a way to feel his presence closer.
But overnight, after more than half a century, that voice was replaced by a cold, empty electronic recording.
Overcome with despair, Margaret requested that tape from the London Underground transport company, so that she could continue to hear her husband's voice at home.
However, upon learning of the emotional story, the company decided to reinstate the speaker announcement at the only stop in the vicinity of the woman's home, namely at the Embankment stop of the Northern Line, where all passengers can now listen to Oswald Laurence's voice and think that eternal love really does exist.
