Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and eat pie.
Pi has been calculated to over 50 trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern. While only a handful of digits are needed for typical calculations, pi’s infinite nature makes it a fun challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits

Hello,Kaiser hired a contract attorney named Mike Guasco who began work there setting up poor and new very ill patients to be given false restraining orders to kick them off the insurance rolls to save Kaiser money when they were not allowed to deny patient coverage.Mr Guasco was lying to the court and the judges and got many poor and handicapped people kicked off their Kaiser insurance Mr Guasco had a young brain injured man named Tyler Lusk harassed and treated very badly as well as his father Jeff Lusk. Mr Guasco lied about Jeff Lusk and ruined his reputation and said he was threatening Kaiser employees with a gun. Jeff Lusk was a Coast Guard Officer, so Guasco's lies about him having a gun would be believable.Mike Guasco says he is at Kaiser to help doctors with legal matters, but from what I have seen; he has been harming the one I know as my friend.He pretended to have Dr.Gregory Lukaszewicz give me a restraining order 7 years ago,but the papers were forged Guasco is holding Dr. Lukaszewicz prisoner & may be using him in some type of labortrafficking possibly in sex traffic.Dr. Lukaszewicz needs to be asked. I saw him hiding in the back of his car that someone was driving w/him in it. His former partner, Dr. Moayeri of Kaiser Redwood City, is I believe paying Guasco to keep me restrained and giving me false contempt charges to try and send me to prison.I was told I have breast cancer, so Guasco is obviously trying to kill me because I cannot go back to Kaiser because I am afraid Dr . Noushin Nicole Moayeri will try to Kill me as she did before when she had her psy friend Marija M.Petrovic try to mentally manipulate me to killing myself.Dr. Moayeri's police dept told me that she ,Dr.Moaueri is Dr. Lukaszewicz's abuser, but they will not it help me protect him because of my R.O. just as they planned.They are using me as an excuse to harm him.Dr. Lukaszewicz is a brilliant Harvard surgeon.They arent married,so she is afraid he will not give her his money I'm sure Guasco wants some too.She has me tortured when I go to Kaiser;Dr.Moon did it for Dr. Moayeri last time when doing biopsies on my breast.She spoke for Dr. Moayeri &said I take things from other people,meaning Dr.Lukaszewicz.She said I was a bad person & waved the biopsy needle in my face like she was going to stab me w/it! Kaiser has allowed to become a Hell hole!Dr. Lukaszewicz was so frightened &depressed when I knew him.I was rather told that she did radical surgery on him that has made him terrorized & vastly different.Supposedly,she wants him to be a woman.She seems crazy to me,but Kaiser does nothing & still let's her do surgery.Dr. Lukaszewicz needs to be interviewed.He needs to tell his story.He needs freedom!He lives at #3 Mountain Wood Lane,Hillsborough,CA 94040.His work is 1200 El Camino Real Kaiser 3d floor-Surgery.Pls help him!I've been falsely held for 7 years!I live over 120 miles away.Dr.Lukaszewicz is my friend.He's been thin &beaten up looking in court &was bruised.

The drive home was uneventful. I had wanted to stay, but it wasn't practical. I Felt closer to you being there, so it was nice. I ended up having dinner at my son's lovely place, with his sweet and charming lady friend. I adore her. My son was such fun and he showed a sense of humor I had never seen before. He still works for a company that is involved in important vaccine work. He is always on call, so he pays attention to sleep times. I had a marvelous time with them both. Lots of fun!

Imagine retiring early and spending the rest of your life on a cruise ship visiting exotic locations, meeting interesting people and eating delectable food. It sounds fantastic, but surely it’s a billionaire’s fantasy, right?
Not according to Angelyn Burk, 53, and her husband Richard. They’re living their best life hopping from ship to ship for around $100 a night, depending on the cruise. "Cruise costs vary quite a bit, our goal is to average about $100 per night, for the couple, or less across and entire calendar year," Richard told Upworthy.
The Burks have called cruise ships their home since May 2021 and have no plans to go back to their lives as landlubbers. Angelyn took her first cruise in 1992 and it changed her goals in life forever.
“Our original plan was to stay in different countries for a month at a time and eventually retire to cruise ships as we got older,” Angelyn told 7 News. But a few years back, Angelyn crunched the numbers and realized they could start much sooner than expected.
“We love to travel and we were searching for a way to continuously travel in our retirement that made financial sense,” she said. They looked into deals they could find through loyalty memberships and then factored in the potential sale price of their home and realized their dream was totally affordable.
The rough math makes sense. If the couple hits their goal of spending $100 per night to live on a cruise ship, that’s $36,500 a year. Currently, the average price of a home in Tukwila, Washington—where the couple has a house—is about $607,000. Let's say you moved there today, put down 20% and financed the rest, the mortgage would cost you around $44,000 a year.
Plus, on a cruise ship, the couple doesn’t have to pay for groceries.
The Burks are able to live their dream because they’ve spent a lifetime being responsible. “We have been frugal all our lives to save and invest in order to achieve our goal,” she says. “We are not into materialistic things but experiences.”
Angelyn says that cruising takes the stress out of travel. “It is leisurely travel without the complications of booking hotels, restaurants, and transportation while staying within our budget,” she told 7 News. The couple travels lightly with just two suitcases between them and if they need anything, they just buy it on the ship or in the next port.

The one thing to consider before embarking on a never-ending cruise is COVID-19. The coronavirus is easily spread in close quarters and a cruise ship that recently docked in Seattle had 100 people on board who tested positive for the virus. The CDC recommends that people get vaccinated before going on a cruise and that immunocompromised people should consult with their physicians before traveling.
Richard told Upworthy that he believes COVID-19 safety is still very important and has had both his shots and a booster. "I would suggest wearing a mask at all times when out in public no matter whether on a ship, in a movie theater, at a restaurant or even meeting with friends inside or outside," he said.
After leaving their jobs and the mainland behind, the Burks completed a 21-day cruise via the Panama canal. They look forward to a 50-day cruise around the Adriatic Sea, taking in the sights of Europe, as well as a 51-day cruise from Seattle to Sydney, Australia.
The Burks' favorite destinations, no matter how they get there, are Italy, Canada, Iceland and the Bahamas, but their ultimate favorite is Singapore.

I am deciding who I am going to sue first. I have my own trial in March down there. I am trying to get my attorney to send a subpoena down there to my friend, but he won't answer me about it. I even said to him that he wouldn't want me to tell the judge he won't do it, would he? I am also going to send a subpoena to her and I am sure it would blow her mind, since I doubt she thinks she is down to the level of the common man and should deserve being called to court. She needs to know that she is not going to always be protected from her crimes. And he does not decide that he can do what he wants to anyone he wants as he has done to me. People need integrity. They cannot just buy everyone off. Where would out our system of justice be?
I have a few other ideas that I will implement. You need freedom. If you can, you should reason with her before I drop the bombs. Tell her that you heard something is going to happen and you will give her the chance to drop it all and she can go away without a care, but only if she does it now.
She cannot keep going on this way, she will spend the rest of her life in prison, or a mental institution. I will not give this up.
I do this because we are in it together and because it is a matter of Justice. I love you, but that is not what that drives me entirely. It makes me go on, but I am not basing it all on that. You need freedom because you are like any human being with a need for autonomy and deserve it. They both could go to prison for up to 20 years. They deserve it.
They can be filed. Do you want that? I will do it.

Columbia Records initially refused to release "Hallelujah," and it received minimal promotion when it finally came out on his album Various Positions. It was through cover songs from the likes of John Cale and Jeff Buckley that made "Hallelujah" Cohen's magnum opus.
The documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, a Journey, a Song, now on video, examines the history of the iconic track and how it entered ubiquity after being way ahead of its time.

When did Leonard Cohen write "Hallelujah?"
Cohen wrote "Hallelujah" in 1983, reportedly using "an old Casio keyboard." Cohen said in an interview, "To find that song, that urgent song, takes a lot of versions and a lot of work and a lot of sweat." He recalled being in his underwear banging his head on the floor of New York City's Royalton Hotel until he finally thought the song was up to snuff.

Producer John Lissauer explained in Alan Light's book The Holy or the Broken: Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, and the Unlikely Ascent of ‘Hallelujah‘ (via Rolling Stone) that Cohen had settled on what was, at the time, the lyrics to the 1983 version before he entered the studio to record the track.
“I think it was as it was. There was no ‘Should we do this verse?’—I don’t think there was even a question of the order of verses, any ‘Which should come first?’ And had he had a question about it, I think he would’ve resolved it himself," Lissauer recalled. “He’s not one to share his struggles. If he wasn’t up to recording, if he was still working on something, then we just wouldn’t go in. But he’d never go in and act out the tormented, struggling artist.”

Who has the biggest hit with the song "Hallelujah?"
There are a slew of covers of "Hallelujah" in almost every imaginable genre, and picking the best version would feel like Sophie's Choice for most music lovers. That said, Jeff Buckley's rendition is likely the best known and most widely referenced (especially in other covers). Buckley's version was released on his only full-length album, Grace, in 1994 and as a single in 2007. Buckley's rendition of "Hallelujah" was entered into the Library of Congress National Recording Registry.
In terms of use in other media, John Cale of The Velvet Underground has a popular version of the song, released in 1991. His version is the one you've likely heard used in Shrek and Scrubs.

Alexandra Burke had a hit with "Hallelujah" during the 2008 holiday season after performing the song on The X Factor in the U.K.
